Hi there

I’ll be driving, when possible, to Spain. When disembarking the ferry at Bilbao I’m not sure which lane to go through at passport control either in U.K. or Spain.

British reg plates  on car I have eu passport and passenger with U.K. passport so not sure what to do ?

Can someone please advise.

When you say "EU passport" do you mean you have a UK passport issued prior to the UK leaving the EU? If so then that would dictate you down the non-EU line?

However, I interpret what you've said as actually having a passport of a country still a member of the EU then you should be able to use the EU line.

However, your passenger with a UK passport should use the non-EU line.

Thanks for your help but the last time I drove through a port no one was permitted to leave the vehicle so where would that leave us ? and yes I’ll be travelling on a EU passport .
