Any travelled from the UK to Spain since 19/7/'21. How did you get on with the airport authorities on both sides? Also, do the Spanish ask for sight of a return ticket? I ask because if and when we go in Aug., it'll likely be on a one way ticket as we may want to stay the maximum allowed up to 90 days and book our return whilst there when we know return dates.

Spain is still on the amber list with talk of it being put on an amber plus list because of rising infections; if this trend continues, Spain may be put on thr red list and we don't want it to happen whilst there. We are non-resident and need to check up on our property. Covid19 is making our lives a nightmare.

Take care all.

We flew out on the 4th July and returned on the 20th.

No problems at either airport BUT ensure that all your documents are in order, paper copies are perfectly acceptable.

No one asked to see a return flight booking but if the intention of your trip is to check out your holiday home (as was ours) then why risk the 90 days at this particular point of rising infections?  Take a shorter stay and do the 90 day stay when the infections are declining, couldn't think of much worse than paying £1750 to stay in the uk quarantine hotels/prisons.

We've had several friends come out,all had no problem apart from one couple who for some reason blew the paperwork and missed the flight, just sort the paperwork correctly and it's straight forward,be careful with the correct baggage and duty free allowance some get checked one of our friends got away with it by not being checked not advised, probably allow an extra half hour on departure time as it's getting busier
