Advice for travel from La Marina to Santander

Hi everyone, I am travelling to Santander to return to the UK. I am driving a large Motorhome towing a car along with my wife and small dog.

What I would like to do is do 2 overnight stays whilst travelling in dog friendly hotels, what I am afraid of is driving into towns with a large rig. Could anyone please give me some information regarding dog friendly hotels maybe south of Madrid and then north of Burgos so I don’t have much travel to the Ferr

Hello

When sailing from Santander I have stayed the previous night at the Ibis located in Bilbao Arrigorriaga. This dog friendly budget hotel is located very near to the motorway south east of Bilbao with a very pleasant steady run up to Santander on the motorway. Check it out on Google Earth.

I cannot comment on any accommodation near to Madrid as I do the run in one day.
