Hi all, can anyone give me a rough idea of the cost to install a ceiling fan. Thanks

A couple of hours work, max.

The only problem is I have no idea of the hourly rate, sorry.

I'd guess a tradesman charges around 30 Euro an hour, but you'd be hard pushed to get someone to come out for 60 Euro, I'd suspect.

I would say unofficially, it's a dead easy job that any competent handyman should be able to do. Probably not legal though.

Not very helpful, but I am interested to hear what people say.

I've installed loads and it's easy peesey lemon squeezey, as long as you want it installed in the same place as the current fitting.

Take the old fitting off, disconnect the wires, reconnect new wires, refit new appliance.  Remember to turn off the electrics.

Job done

Leroy Merlin give a number of installers that you can chose from with costs ranging from 55 - 100 euros. Using their costs as a guide I would think you would get someone to do this for around 50 euros.

As pointed out by another poster it can be quite a simple job to do for someone with basic DIY skills but not worth attempting if you do not or you are not physically up to holding the fan above your head during installation. It may require additional holes to be drilled into the ceiling, depending what fittings are there already.

(or course) ( "!!!" ) That's why I said it. The same as I explained to the neighbours ( who's fan fell down, with bits of ceiling, on their bed)🤔. V

Thanks for replies, so I have 3 to put up saying 150, that's about half days work roughly, seems quite steep or would price drop slightly if doing more than 1

I'm sure the price would be less for 3, incuded in the cost would be travel time, which would be the same regardless of how many you had to install.

I don't know if you are over in Spain at the moment but I would also ask the neighbours/President for installer recommendations, no doubt others have had the same work done.
