I have just been down to sort nie. There has been a big scam with this........lots of people have been arrested. There is currently a 3 month wait for an appointment. You will not likely get an appointment for that week.

If you’re able to get to the spanish embassy in London it is quick easy and cheap. Ours were emailed to us 3 weeks after our visit.

No appointment is needed you just turn up and queue we waited about an hour. It was all very efficient. You have to print the necessary forms from their site (there’s a form that explains it all too) then take filled in forms with you it cost us £8 something each!  3 weeks later they emailed it to us.  Very easy very cheap.

Yes draycott place. Weekdays 9.15-2.30 we got there at 10 and was out by half 11.  You go in an office with your forms answer a few questions then sign some forms which she stamps then you are sent downstairs to cashiers to pay the £8.60 ish each! So cheap compared to what the agents or lawyers charge you in spain!
