Is this site mainly for advertising items for sale.My take on it,it was a site for general discussion not items for sale.Dissapointed.
It is a site for general discussion. Many, many topics are discussed that affect those who live in Spain. If you look at the top, there are many topics to choose from. The for sale bit does, on odd days, get a lot but is generally far less than the topics under discussion.
Just look at the ones over the last couple of days. Advice on how to treat damp in underbuilds, getting windows tinted on a new car, How to fix a leak from a bathroom, how long someone with an Irish passport can stay in the EU countries, removals between Spain and UK, recommendations for builders, plumbers, electricians, gardeners among many others. How to set up Wise for paying direct debits, getting a bathroom fitted, advice on public transport and what bus to catch. Health information on how to get healthcare, what certain clinics are like, advice on Capital Gains tax and many, many more. Click along the tips and advice section and see the hundreds of posts on things that affect people here with no advertising at all. You'd be amazed at how things like applying for visas, bank accounts, taxes, padron, insurances and virtually any subject that could possibly interest you.
Yes, about half a dozen items for sale in among that lot but even advice on cannabis clubs (usually get a good slagging) along with visa application, how to get a vado permanente. If that isn't general enough for you maybe you are looking in the wrong places.

You have started threads on 20 different topics since Nov 2020 and had at least one answer to them all. We all get annoyed with for sale ads but until Alex changes the forum rules there will be for sale ads in the future. Your alternative is to try a different forum.

Also. If people using this site as a sales platform, when the original poster has been successful, rather than just posting "it´s gone" or "sold", simply (when finished with the sale), delete the original post.

Think you will find that on most forums including this one it is generally accepted as good manners and correct etiquette not to " call posters out" so to speak over misspellings and punctuation.
If u have nothing concrete to add 2 the discussion then why bother.
