Hi peeps

Our names are Phil and Jen

we are considering moving to Spain hopefully in October 2019,dont know where yet as we are still looking around. We have no property to sell, so we will be arriving with a years or twos rental. We are both English language teachers and plan to land an online teaching job wherever we land. like I said we are not positive to which location, town etc to go to, as our options are not limited, so any advice would be welcome.

Thanks for your response kim, I am a teacher here in the UK and I am looking to teach English conversational language, whether it be online or in a school or centre, I was thinking about running my own buisness through the internet, private lessons etc, but I think I will start by working for a company to gain experience as I have not done online teaching , only classroom based.

We have no property to sell but have enough saved money to get over there and set up for a year or so to see how it goes. I wouldnt lie to you we are a little worried about it but want to remain positive towards our goals.

Not meaning to be negative but jobs are not easy to come by, even Spanish people have difficulty.

Apart from Jim's Guides as advised above there are 2 other sites that may be of help.   For general information the Citizens Advice Bureau Spain may have answers to some queries that you will have, plus the N332 site for anything to do with driving in Spain.

The Spanish people are very helpful, particularly if you try to speak in their language.

Property on the coast, particularly in tourist areas, can be expensive to rent and/or buy, but go a little inland and they can be much cheaper.
