Hi all, I recently purchased a second hand DeLonghi Variable Blue Fire mobile gas fire.  It worked fine for a couple of hours two nights

on the run, The second night it switched off by itself.  Tonight I turned it on again and it worked well for 2 hour and then again switched

itself off.  Just wondering if anyone can advise me on what the problem would be or if they know anyone who could fix this problem

Any advice appreciated

Is the room it’s in ventilated, as it will cut out if there is not enough fresh air circulating.

Agreed, it appears to have built in safety system "Atmosphere Analyzer": Monitors the carbon dioxide (CO2) level in the room. If the CO2 concentration exceeds 1.5%, the heater will automatically shut down to prevent oxygen depletion and ensure a safe environment.

Hi.
the newer gas fires have a sensor built in.   If it detects carbon dioxide it shuts off and nothing you can do about it even putting it out side does not work.   Better to buy an older model.   You can try leaving windows a jar and see if that helps but with this cold weather it defeats the object of keeping warm.
