Hi Again Steve this is charlies dad's wife, we ( I usually technical) have tried to correct our zgemma (solely for free view) box without success it just keeps scanning and scanning not saving. As we live in Playa Flamenca we are hoping for a technician locally who could do this for us as our box does not have some of the features mentioned in the manual you suggested i.e recording facility or a card slot on the face of the box. So please if there is a tech guy who could do this please contact us,we do appreciate your forma advice Steve.

I don't know of anybody, sorry.
But the box must have a precise model number displayed on it somewhere. Find it and use Google to search for the manual.
BTW, "freeview" is not available in Spain. That might be your problem! "Freesat" is available if your satellite dish is big enough.
