Am I correct in saying that if I want to buy another property in the same location, I'll have to pay 6% agents fee etc etc.for the sale of my present property, then 10% on top of the purchase price of the one.I'm.buying as well as fees etc etc
What a nightmare, either stay somewhere that doesn't suit my needs anymore, go back to UK or pay up about 15% of my assets.:( what a decision

Hi Ann,
I'm afraid to say you are about right. The cost of swapping horses is pretty high isn't it! Very much a long term investment.
I did hear someone the other day talking about an online selling agent in Spain - similar to Purple Bricks (etc etc) back in the UK, but I had to leave before I could find out more. Maybe someone on here knows about this? It's of interest to me also as I may be in a similar position next year.

It would be great if anyone, could give us some info on the online agent in Spain , similar to Purple Bricks:). Don't mind paying some sort of fee, but 6%? No commission sounds even better!

Criminal is what I call it. Try Dolphin properties I used them to sell my house on villacosta 2, it was sold in just a couple of months and their fee was only €3000 compared to the €7000 other agents wanted, usually the agent that you use to purchase a property will not charge for purchasing

Thanks folks. I will try the ones mentioned.
I don't hold out a lot of hope for negotiating, Kimmy11, as I lost my DH 2 years ago, and already feel like I am at a disadvantage:( Have already been messed about with tradesmen.
But onward and upward, lol I will try:)
