Hello,

I'm in the middle of this process in Torrevieja. Early last month I filled in the online form to request the ACCV and then made an appt., from days & times available, for Nov. to produce some documents to confirm my ID, however the online procedure said I would receive a confirmation email with details of what to take - I haven't had an email so not sure what will happen when I go to town hall.

Your procedure will be similiar I suppose, so good luck.

Cheers

Hello Ade

Torrevieja ayuntamiento has gone all electronic this year, so for  every dept you have to book an online app... this is the   link ....https://www.google.com/search?q=torrevieja.es+cita+previa&oq=torrevie&aqs=chrome.0.69i59l3j46j69i60l4.8888j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Tried to phone today to get confirmation of appt & what I need to take - failed miserably , ( no number listed for digital certificate)......., 2 people said wrong dept, 2 numbers were not answered, one lady said she only spoke spanish & catalan haha  !

Better luck with yours

Hi ade66,

As a minimum, you will need to take your passport, plus:

-  if Resident, take your green residency certificate and Padron certificate,

-  if Non-Resident, take your house deeds or rental contract, and a utility bill,

-  if in doubt, take as much of the above as you have!

If you're non-resident and you want the digital certificate to start a TIE application online, request an appointment for your Certificado de Empadronamiento ("Padron") at the same time, to save you another visit.

When you book your online appointment, I'd suggest taking a screenshot of it, just in case you don't receive confirmation by email.

Kind regards,

Kim

hi kim .

yes its all to do with the process of obtaining tie as first time resident.

i have a padron appointment booked at playa flamenca on the 9th nov but cant get the digital appointment till into december so i thought id look at orihuela and they have appointments tomorrow and onwards so plumped to going there to get that on the system. hopefully all goes smoothly with what documents we have.  i downloaded autofirma a while ago but a bit confused as to what other parts of accv i have to download onto my pc if you have any idea as on the accv site lists quite a few different components.

many thanks for your reply kim

thanks ade

Hi ade,

It seems to vary from one Town Hall to another.  For example, Guardamar del Segura just give you the 20-digit code and a link from where to download the ACCV.  At Formentera del Segura, they asked us to take our mobile phones with us, so that we could do the first stage with them there and then they gave us the certificate on disc, which made it very easy to load it onto the different devices we have at home.  If you have any problems after your appointment, just ask.

Great news that you already have your Padron appointment!

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi el. Just a quick message ref my appointment today in orihuela city. Got there just before my appointment at 9am. Few in queue in front but only couple minutes got to counter where they took our temperature and directed us to a table. All we was asked for was our nie. Never checked passport or needed proof of address. We signed a copy of document given couple pages with code for the accv site and left within 5 minutes. I was sent 2 emails one to verify email given for  appointment and one to access accv to put code in and password.  I had trouble getting 2 on to the one browser so I've got one on Internet explorer and other on mozzilla but both are on accv site as loaded. I've been on online tie site and our details come up on there to start 1st time tie process so so far so good thanks ade

Hi Ade

Thanks so much for the update, great result today & everything seemed to go very smoothly. I hope it continues in the same way for your TIE appointment, time is short so, no  problems or delays would be ideal. Let me know if if it all works out

Cheers
