Hi all

I am more confused than ever !! Can anyone give an example .

For instance I think you mean you can go Jan Feb mar home 180 days ie apr May June jul aug Sep then back Oct nov Dec then home 180 days ie Jan Feb mar apr May jun then back jul aug Sep.  I this is correct then I too am very sad !

Residencia would not work for us as I understand it as on our return to the uk assuming we had been using the s1 healthcare, we would not be able to use the nhs as we do now ?

Thanks all

Hi thank you for your efforts to do that.  I have read the links but it still raises questions.

I hope you don’t feel unappreciated!!

I am also confused by the number of conflicting comments in this epic saga.

RAY YOU,RE PERFECT ❤, the calculator explains everything and as I entered my proposed dates it did calculate when I could return for a 2nd 90day visit. I did show the statement regarding "rolling over" from the Shengen Visa rules re 90 in 180 days and they too thought same as myself ,so we decided it was somewhat ambiguous in its interpretation. However the calculator  is brilliant, now I cant get it wrong and if Denise input her attempt to run 2x90days together it would prove you cant do it. Thankyou for taking the time to produce that information and I can now rest relieved.

My kindest regards

Pauline.🖒

Denise, we can rest easy now, with Ray,s helpful info link providing calculator to determine how many days left after various visits which is brilliant. If you put your proposed dates you,ll see you cant run them together, but at least we can get 180days of visits in a year. I,m happy now. Let me know if you can qualify for an extended visit of 90days+.

Yes Ray, thats all what I found out, but thankfully as non residents still able to bring belongings over in the 90 day stays each time. We,re coming by car March but bring Van in September. Following year, probably 2 van visits. As residents it just wouldnt have been possible.

Pauline.

If you are drWing your old age pension, then you can apply for the S1 form. but reading on the gov.uk there is a late note to say that after the 29/3 we may not be able to use it, but can’t see that.

If you'd used the Quote button, it would have saved me a few minutes tracking down what you are referring to.

I'd now guess that you're asking about the IPREM. This year's budget law didn't get passed, and in view of the general election it's not known when it will be passed or if it will be amended, so the police stations should still be using the old criteria.

However, the €900 is per person.

It could all be academic anyway, as different criteria could apply in the event of a no-deal Brexit and no agreement between the UK and Spain.

See my guides for information on the alternative scenarios.
