Does anyone know whether the online system automatically defaults to 22.12.2020 when booking an appointment to renew the Padron, or is that the first available date/time? I've even tried typing a date in January 2021 but the system comes back with 22.12.2020. I'd appreciate a little help.

If you had an electronic certificate, as I keep telling people, you could apply online.

Hi there, I got a cita previa yesterday morning for 10/12/2020, so that shows how quickly the appointments are being snapped up, and how slow the system has become.

Have a look at Jim's Guide to getting an electronic certificate, because as he says, this will enable you to apply online. After reading his super helpful guide(s) I have made an appointment at the Suma Office, to obtain an electronic certificate, even though I am not good with computer technology! (Thanks Jim!)

Yes, now is needed the Digital Certificate for many procedures. If you need help with the digital certificate, please let me know and we can do it online.
