Hi all,

Trying to make an appointment for my Residencia.. trying trying..the site keeps saying no dates available.

Any of you have been  running into this problem?

Making an appointment today for my Padron it is like 1 1/2 month out ( July 1st ).. would this time frame be the same for appointments for the Residencia you think?

Many tnx

Can you confirm that you hold an EU passport?

Sorry to have to ask but obviously Brits no longer qualify for the Residencia.
If you continue to have problems it may be worth finding a gestor to help. I can recommend https://www.getlegalinspain.com/nie-residencia.html

Good luck.

We are in Gandia, further up the coast from you. My wife is German. We found making a residencia appointment impossible and ended up having to use a solicitor. As far as we could find out, spaces are allocated to local solicitors and gestors who then book them for their clients. Not saying this is the case everywhere, but it's certainly our experience!

But Padrón appointments were very easy and the housing office was really helpful. We didn't need the solicitor for that. We both speak a little Spanish, which helps, but as you are Dutch, I expect you do too-?

Many tnx for your input! This might indeed ( part) of the problem not being able to book a date.

Will see if I can fire up the engine of my present Gestor otherwise switch and  start using ( most probably the more expensive option of ) a solicitor.

Much appreciated

Uma at getlegalinSpain charges €90, probably much cheaper than a solicitor.

Hi All small update on the above “Residencia Appointments “.

Have contacted several Gestors and Solicitors…

Nobody is able to get/make and appointments for the above…

They are trying almost every 15 mins to get in..so it looks like a lottery for the time being …

Cheers
