Any venues around for Rock n roll and/or Latin/Salsa

There is a Spanish dance school in Los Montesinos that does Salsa, Bachata etc., but not Rock and Roll as that is ballroom/latin dancing.

There is also Paso a Paso that does modern jive but not Salsa as Salsa comes under the heading of Latino dancing.

We teach ballroom and latin dancing and that covers Rock and Roll in the latin section but not Salsa as that is Latino.   If you are only interested in the dances you mention then you would have to split them up and learn one in one school and the other in another school or change to modern jive [does not have footwork!].   Hope the above is helpful to you

Dancing - Ballroom, Latin, Sequence and Argentine Tango

Wednesday - Classes - Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango

New Beginners Class 11am – 12pm

Intermediate Class 12pm – 13.00pm

Sequence Dance Class Friday 7pm - 7.45pm.

Social Dance - Ballroom, Latin and Sequence 8pm - 10.30pm ;

All the above are held at El Paraiso Restaurant, Urbanisation Jardin del Mar, Torrevieja [near McDonalds and Carrefour]

Never danced before, not a problem, come along 11am Wednesday mornings and have a go, it is fun and you will meet like minded people. You will be surprised at how quickly you are dancing.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do.   Sorry I cannot help you with the name of the dance School in Los Montesinos but the Town Hall should know.   Also, Los Montesinos is not a big place and people you ask may well point you in the right direction of the dance school for Salsa lessons.

Hi Eva8, Looking forward to seeing you at 11am this Wednesday then.   Yes, we teach all ballroom modern and latin plus Argentine Tango in the 11am Beginners class, progressing to 12 noon Intermediate class as you get better.   Do you know where the venue is or do you want directions.   You can google it if you are not sure or I can send you directions .   Just let me know if you need directions.

The only thing that is not taught on a Wednesday is Sequence Dances and they are taught on Friday at 7pm but you are not ready for that yet, I will let you know when you are ready for that.

Hi,

From Mil Palmeras, take the N332 to Torrevieja and get off the roundabout and turn left towards Carrefour.   At the roundabout with McDonalds on the corner, turn right [Carrefour is now on your right and McDonalds on your left].   Go to top of the road where there is a roundabout and turn left and then first right.   El Paraiso is at the top of this road on your left hand side, we dance in the back room.   Good luck,

BE CAREFUL - there are two El Paraiso Restaurants in Torrevieja.
