Hello, all

Can anyone advise a reliable and reasonable solar panel company active in Orihuela Costa? I am looking to have an installation in my house ASAP.

Thank you for your advice

You would think roofs would be smothered in panels here but if you look around the main ones you see are purely for hot water. Full systems are very expensive, think ballpark 10k and up.
I know electric prices are through the roof at the moment but it will still take many years to pay for itself although there are some incentives available which may help.
You may have to get the go ahead from the community first as it will affect the overall look of the area.

Thanks for this, but I am past all that already.  Looking for a good company to do the job.  Any recommendations?

No, sorry, we have only just recovered from the quote so have bottled gas central heating and hot water.

Hi i've had solar Panels fitted 2 years ago and have no regrets whatsover, if you are a Resident you could qualify for a Grant towards the costs ok .

Private message me and I can give you a quotation or make an appointment.

Thank you for your advice

Hi I've used EDP which is an international company who gave me a 25 year guarantee and service my panels annually, four of my neighbours have followed my lead because they have seen my electricity bills which are at the highest 30 euros, I used to have gas water heater and cooker but I'm all electric now  and I'm not frightened to turn things on, I live in a four bed villa with pool that's on everyday, my neighbours bills  were over 200 per month and they were lucky enough to qualify for a 2000 euro grant, I know there is a waiting list now of people waiting to get panels fitted because of the huge increase in energy costs, EDP come round to your property to look at your roof and location and will give you a quote, there are a lot of cowboys out there so make sure they are registered with the Spanish dept of energy, licensed from a ayuntamiento etc or you won't be able to claim for the excess energy your producing from your panels, forgotten the name of the person I called but the number 634304174 and he speaks fluent English and Spanish, good luck
