I use Yoigo in Spain - unlimited calls to landlines in Spain & including calls to all other mobile phone networks. 20GB of data as well, which is loads €30 per month
My partner used to travel often to UK on business, so did use a dual sim phone - she used Giff Gaff for the UK sim, as cheap, easily topped up online.
Many phones have dual sim - including non UK, but Euro models of even popular phones, such as the latest Samsungs - etc - ebay a good source - lots of options depending on budget. You do need to be a little careful with dual sim phones, as some have both sims active and some do not - have to manually switch between them, not ideal if you want incoming calls - check this point carefully, as it is not always stated, but you can find the answers online.
Have 02 not as good as yours unlimited calls to uk landlines and mobile 4 gb data £22 month use our telfy mobile for calls in spain

Hi
We're moving to Spain from the UK in a month or so. My mobile phone contract is up for renewal and I'm wondering what if I should upgrade my phone and contract here or wait until I get to Spain. The trouble is I've called a few companies here in the UK and they've all stated that afte...

...r a few months in Spain my SIM card will stop working unless I return to UK on a regular basis. I've not heard of anyone else having this problem or has that been the case for some people? They basically said it may not get cut off at all but there is a chance that it would. I did tell them I would still have a UK address and UK bank but it made no difference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
Whats happens is after 2(3) months your inclusive minutes texts and data cease to work on a free roaming basis, but your phone and number should not be cancelled, you can still use your phone but each call will be charged independently so if you are on a contract you could run up a bill. Incomings texts will still work free of charge. When i go to Spain i use my UK phone for 2 months then switch to a PAYG Spanish sim card I use Llamaya they have good deals for €10/month that gives a lot of minutes to phone the whole of Europe and UK(hopefully we keep in the EU after March!!). Your handset woulld have to be unlocked, better if if you have an unlocked 2nd handset that you maybe have in a drawer.
Big Al

Get a sim only with Digi mobile .these are available all over the Costa. You can put on it when you need to 5 10 or 15 euros and charge again when it runs down .or you can put 10 euros each month on digi 400, both can be used in England at no extra cost. Calls cost 1cent per minute and you can recharge when in UK on line no extra cost. I us pay when I run out of credit , and phone any where in Europe or UK.

We have been using a UK mobile for 3 years plus with no trouble at all.
Digi only costs 1cent per minute from anywhere to anywhere.

Apart from those of us who live in Spain and are forced to pay more for calls to phone people on UK mobile numbers who live or whilst in Spain.
So it might be cheap to you, but for those using most Spanish mobile contracts, it is flipping expensive to call a UK mobile. Sometimes can be a euro a minute. Not good for people wanting to call you in Spain, on a UK number.
