Possible scam.
Hi all, advice needed for an elderly gent who is not computer savi. He has been living in Spain for approximately 3 years. Paid cash for his property & went through a reputable company when buying. He was advised to get his own gestor and this he did. After about a year he received a registered letter for himself & his wife from a tax collecting agent for a few thousand euros. He took the letters to the gestor. He said it’s fine & he will deal with it,and he did. Paid it straight into there bank. By the way, the gent has a state pension & his wife a small works pension. To cut this short. The following year. Same again for 6 thousand euros. & this year just over 10 thousand euros. The gestor paid it straight back into their bank. Any advice will be gratefully received. Thank you.
