Hi,

We are looking at moving from our home in France to Pedreguer, specifically Monte Solana.  We would like to arrange a 4 to 6 week trip in order to explore the possibilities of both purchasing a resale and building new.  With this in mind we need somewhere that is both convenient and dog friendly.  Happy to also look at house sitting and exchange labour etc.

Our provisional dates would be from mid end of June.  If anyone has something that would be suitable then please drop me a message and I will respond.

Thanks

Keith

If you are British passport holders I presume you're aware of the requirements for moving to Spain?

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

JacksonDoyle, I am certain that no offence was intended by Darro, this now being the standard question posed by whomsoever replies to queries of this nature. As you are doubtless very well aware, since Brexit, it is no longer so easy for UK passport holders to simply decide to move here, as there are now numerous hoops which must be jumped through. Unfortunately, this fact does not seem to be generally well disseminated amongst many people wishing to move here and who ask questions about the process, or require further Information from people on the site who are willing to help. The query posed by Darro would have clarified the information which may be necessary.

We are both EU citizens with dual nationality.

The following websites may be of assistance:

Citizens Advice Bureau Spain for bureaucratic stuff, and

N332 for anything to do with driving in Spain.   The site, and their Facebook page, is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil and has an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code on it.

Even as EU citizens there are still certain rules to follow to be able to live in Spain permanently.

Here is the official website with all the requirements:

Thank you for the information, though until we find somewhere to rent none of the information you have very kindly provided will be

applicable.

Perhaps I have mislead people, we are looking for somewhere to rent for approximately SIX WEEKS in order to investigate our planned move further....

I don't have anything to add to the original question, I just wanted to say, that as someone who also fell in love with Pedreguer, I want to wish you well in your journey. We bought a house on the other side of the village on Monte Pedreguer.

Hi. I am currently about 2 hours drive from pedreguer, but am selling my house and I also have fallen in love with the place. Unfortunately I have 3 dogs, 2 young, and one who is on his last legs at 26 years old, so finding somewhere to rent primarily until sale goes through of my property is kind of expensive so I am actually looking for somebody to share a house with a large garden and if you would like to stay at my home and drive I am looking for a house sitter from mid june to mid July. But I am near santa pola so obviously pedreguer is quite a distance. However the offer is there for you. Jo
