Has anyone had to apply for a temporary sip card for the covid jab at the medical center in Pego?
I have private medical insurance but need to get a temporary sip card for the covid jab and I’m not sure what paperwork they may require.
Can anyone advise please.

I have done it. And received my two appointments, got my first jab Wednesday. There is a link on the communidad valenciana health website, that you register on online, and they send you a sip card number and later the two appointments. I found the link on the forum here, and will send it if I find it.
Note that you need a spanish mobile phone number to receive the info.

Alternatively you can go to your local health centre with Padron, (within last 3 months) TIE, or residents papers, and your EHIC card. They issue a temporary SIP card and your registered. A Spanish phone number for contact, which I think you could use a friends if you don't have one. They call or text for your appointment.
It works because my wife had he vaccination through this process last week.

I actually also did this when I got doubts as to the online sign-up, and it worked as well. Got two temporary sip card numbers, and two appointments at two-minute intervals.😂

If you take your passport and residency card to your local health centre they'll issue you with a temporary SIP card. Padron if you have a current one available may be useful also. Spanish contact phone number is also required.
