I have booked an appointment for my car to go through the Spanish ITV shortly and noticed that they require a driving licence along with other documents, my problem is I have not got around to acquiring a Spanish license yet and only have the old fashioned UK license (the paper type) does anyone know if they will accept it or will they only accept the Spanish one ?
According to this article you can drive on a UK/EU licence for up to 2 years after gaining Residency after which it becomes invalid.

I have 3 vehicles and have undergone about half a dozen ITV's, including initial ones when transferring from UK to Spanish registration, but never once been asked for a driving licence so where have you got this 'information' from?

The information came from the cita previa conformation email reply.
I’m hoping that it’s not required but who knows.
