Legendary helpful member
I used them for my relocation UK to Spain. The driver arrived alone and stressed to the max and expected ME to help him lift large items like bureau etc. (No mention of this previous to the day) Some items had to be left behind as the van was overloaded with other furniture. Once in Spain they said I had exceeded my load quote (I had provided a contents list) and demanded 150 euros in cash before they would unload into my house.
Wouldn't use them again.
We hope to buy in Pego. Is there a bar/pub/ restraunt that the ex pats use regularly to watch sport etc?, serving Sunday lunches, all day breakfasts?
Is the super market open on a Sunday

Hi Phillip
Pego is an excellent choice. We have lived here permanently for 7 years and never looked back! Pego is a traditional Spanish town, with the advantage of nothing shutting down out of the holiday season. The majority of English Ex Pat's here are retired and Bar Casino is a popular place for congregating for coffee in the morning, and they do a English breakfast. El Moss Bar on the paseo do show live tv sporting events. However, if I am read your message correctly, if you are looking for Little Britain in Pego, it would not suit you. English Sunday lunch, all day breakfasts and an English speaking community - it is not. If this is what you are seeking, then perhaps closer to Javea or parts of Denia, maybe worth exploring. If you want to live the Spanish life, embrace yourself in the culture and enjoy the many and varied Fiestas, Pego is the place to be. A little effort trying to converse in Spanish, with the locals, goes a long way, and you realise what incredibly receptive warm funny people they are! ENJOY!!
