Seems like we will receive the keys to our apartment in Pego centre within a couple of weeks (yaaaay!).
At what companies do we actually have to register for water and electricity?

Your solicitor should deal with that so you don't have to do anything

Hi Paul. Thank you for your replay.
I'm actually surprised. The abogado that checked all the legal stuff is supposed to sign us up for water and electricity?
Sounds counter intuitive, but then again, this is Spain ;)

Yes they have to cancel and make sure all the sellers payments are up to date, If you become unhappy with suppliers then you can always change to a new supplier at a later date
