If this option doesn’t exist then select “TOMA DE HUELLA (EXPEDICIÓN DE TARJETA) RENOVACIÓN DE TARJETA DE LARGA DURACIÓN Y DUPLICADO”

For those under the withdrawal agreement, you can renew 30 days before the card expires and up to 90 days afterwards but most departments are not accepting updates until the card itself actually expires and are rejecting early requests. This is done using the EX23 form.

If not under the protected withdrawal agreement than the form EX17 is used and can be applied for 60 days before expiry but, again, check the department if they will do it early. That is done selecting the "POLICIA-TOMA DE HUELLAS (EXPEDICIÓN DE TARJETA)" option,

I've been through every location in Alicante and none of them is currently offering those two.

You can make an appointment for whenever date may pop up as available so long as it's NOT prior to your TIE expiry.

Not sure if or where “POLICÍA-EXP.TARJETA ASOCIADA AL ACUERDO DE RETIRADA CIUDADANOS BRITÁNICOS Y SUS FAMILIARES (BREXIT)” may be an option in the Alicante region but no matter, stick with "TOMA DE HUELLA" which is definitely correct.

Did our own renewals BTW so know for fact!
