Animal Charity Volunteering

Hi .

Are there any local Animal Charities in the Petrer/Elda area that may have a Rescue Centre or charity shop /Cafe etc.

I have items i can donate to raise money and I am considering whether i can offer some of my free time as a volunteer.

Hi. I don’t know if you are just looking locally, but Easy Horse Care Centre near Rojales (about 40 mins by car from you) is always looking for volunteers. They have a website at easyhorsecare.net. with lots of information and a number of ways for people to support their charity rescue centre. They have an open day on the first Sunday of each month with a cafe and opportunities to walk round and meet the horses, donkeys and mules.

Hi Jackie

Thank you for the info regarding the Easy Horse Care Centre. Although it is a little further than I wanted to travel to volunteer, it is very similar to a Farm Animal Charity that we support back in the UK.

I will definitely pay a visit to the centre and take a look at what i maybe able to offer as a volunteer.
