Email the relevant British government department on '[email protected]'

and explain the situation to them. According to the latest British embassy info, they should be able to help you process your application for the SIP card electronically.

NO THE CAPITAL LETTERS DO NOT BOTHER ME AT ALL BUT SOME PEOPLE HAVE COMPLAINED.   I HAVE AN EYE CONDITION HENCE THE CAPITAL LETTERS.   TRIED THE LINKS SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT BUT NOT GREAT.  BUT THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.  ANNEMARIE

I have a neighbour in the same boat, a 72 year old English lady. We got her residencia done about three weeks ago, but before we could register her for the SIP card, the lockdown happened.

I've given her the e-mail link and she's going to try that route as well.

Thank you for your help with my partner's Spanish Health Card.

I emailed [email protected] as advised and explained my problem.

28.03.2020          Got reply to my enquiry and got a reply that they would contact me in 20 days

30.03.2020          Replied the next day, from Marietta which I was not expecting.  She had some questions                               for me regarding date of Spanish Residency, etc.,

31.03.2020          Sent back an e mail answering the questions

31.03.2020          Got a new e mail from Laura Leeman asking me to send her copies of Spanish                                                Residency Card, copy of SIP form, passport and Padron (which we have not done)

01.04.2020          Sent by e mail the requested documentation.

02.04.2020          Reply from Laura who will speak to INSS regarding his Health Card.

02.04.2020          Had to go to pharmacy as running low on medication.   Only paid 75 euros instead of 232                             euros.  Pharmacy said he was now in the system.

02.04.2020          Sent e mail to Laura that everything appears okay now.   Got a phone call from the                                         Embassy in Madrid checking everything was okay

A brilliant service and thank you again for your advice.  Its one less thing to worry about.
