I want to send a parcel from West Midlands to Pilar
Hi
I need to post a large box, approx 20kg to arrive while we are there. Is DHL best best method? Thank you.

DHL would certainly be the best option.

Hi Ade
We are in Solihull and will be going to Pilar on 22 June. I haven’t packed it yet but the weight will be about 20kg. I think it would be about 30” x 30” x 30” but could send more accurate details later.
Do you do regular runs over? How long does it take and what is the approx cost. If you let me have your contact details could chat. Thanks, Carole

hello carole . im actually in spain at the moment due back in uk the weekend myself so i wont be due out again to spain till 1st august staying then till mid september. so the box your trying to send out wouldnt arrive till august if i took it. we usually charge £50 to take out door to door for a box of that size. i do runs every couple months next being october as that might be the last if brexit ever happens so id get a few quotes from the parcel people see what they can offer you if needed before i can deliver. thanks ade

Hi
Thank you. We need it to arrive while we are there so will explore other options. However, I will keep your details in case we need anything in the future.
We have toyed with the idea of driving over at some point. Any tips on route, how long it would take etc. Much appreciate your feedback. Carole

Thank you.
Michelin is brilliant for planning routes down. For a comfortable drive we found two overnight stops just about right.

Hi, which crossing did you take? Or did you go Eurotunnel?
Eurotunnel, so quick and simple. We've only done it twice, once avoiding most of the tolls and once on the E15 route the whole way. I would never bother going off-piste again but you do need to get your timing right around Paris. We've never tried the ferry to Northern Spain as we have two large-ish dogs and they would have had to be caged and I've never fancied the Bay of Biscay in a storm.
There have been various very helpful and detailed posts on here previously so search for driving routes from UK in Everywhere.
