Has anyone had post since the lockdown?  Also is Amazon delivering, they say yes but I just had an email saying one parcel is at customs in Paris. I live in Pilar de la horadada.

In La Zenia we have been getting Correos deliveries although they may be a bit slower, have not used any of the Courier services but have seen their vans going down our street.

I have never had, and still don't have, any problems with post in Almoradi.   I am still receiving post even during this crisis.

Can't say if it has any bearing but France and Amazon are at loggerheads over working conditions and for the moment have been forced to suspend operations there at penalty of a €1m per day fine.

Orders from French customers are being fulfilled from neighbouring countries which clearly will have knock on effects in those.

Knowing how bolshie the French can be I can easily imagine them deliberately delaying Amazon packages passing through France en route to other destinations.

Thanks for your reply.  I ordered through Amazon.es but the supplier was German so I can understand that it could get stuck in France but for 5 weeks?  The other things I ordered probably came from China but are still “in transit“.  But post from U.K. could be anywhere, I suppose.  I guess I just have to wait.  It’s annoying when I live just a walk from the post office here in Pilar.

I have had 2 deliveries from Amazon.Es in the last 5days, one ordered last Fri and delivered yesterday at 10am....probably quicker than normal. No normal  post   via Correosfor about 3 weeks now.

That's not good news.

Shipments from Germany normally transit through French customs in Roissay who have an apalling record of inefficiency and carelessness of which I have personal experience.

If it's been 'stuck' there for 5 weeks then in all probability I'd say that you can kiss goodbye to it.

Yes, we are receiving post, but it is delayed.
