Hi Folks. I am a resident in Spain. My UK passport expires in June. Can any one tell me how to go about getting it renewed from here. Not sure whether to go through the British Consulate or where to get the forms. I was thinking of sending my old one and application by recorded delivery direct to the UK Passport Office. The info on the government website is pre Brexit. Can anyone help. Thanks.

Go online to the gov web pages. You can fill in the form online , upload a recent photo and then they give you an address to send the old passport to. I did my mothers just before Xmas. Took 2 weeks. Old and new passport get sent to you separately

Sorry to jump on this post. When you say upload a recent photo would it be one that you have done for passport not just any picture?

If you follow the link on my previous post and just fill in a few details it will get to the page where it explains how to upload the digital photo and the requirements.

Have someone take one on your phone. You can upload it and it will tell you if it’s good enough
