Hi

Can anyone advise on how to add heating to an existing swimming pool?  Have you had this done or are you a contractor who carries out this type of work?

Estimated costs for installation of pump and rough costs for heating the pool.

Thank you.

Hello Carole, there's lots of information on line about this if you do a quick google. My pool isn't heated, it's about 7.5 m x 4.5 m and 2.5 m deep and it is now just warm enough to swim in and will get warmer and warmer through to late September but I will still be using it in October.
I don't know anybody who has a heated pool and can only guess it is because the cost of installation and running costs put it out of the reach of many.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.  I am just considering this as an option for when my small grandchildren visit in April and October.  Carole

Our grandchildren visited in April, the pool has just been refilled and the temperature was 18 degrees. Guess what, it didn't bother them at all. They were in the pool several times each day.
