Hi All
Looking for some cleaning advise
My patio/garden tiles have gone very dull from sand and weather, I have tried power washing but they still dry out really dull and lack lustre
Any advise and help would be very much appreciated.

If you have a Karcher pressure washer ... Karcher sell an attachment, a rotating brush cleaner which improves our outdoor tiles.

Linseed oil.

Do this in the evening if possible.

When they are clean, apply a thin layer of linseed oil. Leave for an hour or so and then wipe off the excess.

In the morning buff with a clean cloth.

How they will look depends on the finish of your tiles.

I would recommend treating a small area, perhaps one tile, first so that you can see the result before committing to it.

Hi

Have you tried or had any success with recommendations? We’ve got the same problem and keen to see if there’s a way of getting them to look more presentable, rather than an expensive replacement

I look forward to hearing from you

Thanks in advance

Gail

Below is a response to my post  from another person which I found helpful, also it’s a cheap method if it works for you, definitely worth a try.

I have a large area of tiling around my pool and I clean with 50% Salfumant (from Mercodona)and 50% water, and then mop . The tilees come up looking new. I do this about twice a year.
