I will be in Spain over the summer months and would like to play some badminton. I know that there are some clubs in Pilar but they close over July and August. Are there any other informal groups or individuals in the area that like to meet up and play badminton?

hello, i play tennis and badminton and i am looking for groups of people to play with, been told there is a badminton group in Pilar de la horadada, so trying to find it :-), any clues???? xx

There are badminton groups in both Pilar and San Pedro. Pilar does not meet in the summer months and that is why I use San Pedro when I am in Spain.
This is a message I received about the Pilar badminton.
Times for play are Tues, Wed and Thurs from 10.00 to 12.30 Cost 2 euros for session. We play with nylon shuttles. If you are interested we play up to end of June, close for August and re open in early September.

ohhh thanks for the info, , i cant make it in the mornings, i ould thursday and friday evenings or anytime during the weekends, anyway i'll try to go during the easter holydays so i can meet the group and see if someone is interested in playing during the weekends.
where do they play??

thank you for the replay, but guardamar is bit further from where i am.. roldan/ torrepacheco area.. also any info about tennis grouos would be very welcome :-)
