Could anyone recommend a chiropodist who doesn’t just ‘tickle’ hard skin with one of those little machines, but does it properly with a blade/knife. My feet need a really good overhaul. I defo don’t want a glorified pedicure with any footpaths. I want hardcore!! I have tried several chiropodists who have been good on first visit but future appointments seem to be rushed. I am in Pilar but don’t mind going as far as Los Alcazares or the other way to La Zenia. If they only speak Spanish that is no problem. HELP please!!!

I've done my own for years, you can buy the shaving tool and blades in almost any pharmacy.

Thanks Darro. I have had all the tools available. Lots of cuts and end up looking worse than before😂. I truly am accident prone and anything sharp is an accident waiting to happen. Hence I like to get them done properly and I rather enjoy it😃

I fully recommend Clinica Baelo podiatrist. They are in Playa Flamenca, close to Lidl on the N332.

Check the website, the clinic is exactly like that, clean, modern and the podiatrists are excellent. I go regularly and look forward to it. I was surprised that my treatment cost the same as what the ´glorified pedicurists' charge.

They use blades. They do an excellent job but won't go so far as to encourage rapid over-regrowth. I've gone from struggling to deal with pain to bouncing about happily.

Excellent. If that doesn't work they speak English so you can phone them. They have a great system where they automatically send reminders. Hope it all goes well.
