Sunshine Holiday Villas has its 1st Holiday rental going live in Pilar de la Horadada around March 2018

Its a Two bedroom / 2 Bathroom apartment with solarium on the Lamar site.

We are looking for a housekeeper / cleaner that speaks English to clean the apartment once / twice a week for 5-10 hours a week Monday and or Friday with a view to expanding into our other properties in the area at a later date

You will be a key holder, and responsible for all aspects of post rental cleaning and housekeeping including washing of linen items and making up a welcome pack for incoming guests up to twice a week.  Takeover time is 4pm and it would also be useful if you was available for meet and greet at the property at this time if it fits in with the cleaning schedule.

We would prefer an ex pat, but as long as you can communicate with the Property Manager in the UK via incoming phone calls / text and email in English this is fine if you are not.

Renumeration will be monthly into your bank account at a rate to be discussed.

We plan to go live with Apartment #1 around mid March, 2018 and you will have to work ad hoc until bookings come in more frequently.  We hoping to have it booked 85% or more from June / July onwards.  More properties are being purchased next year also.

If you are interested please email us on

[email protected] with a short introduction and CV if you have one with at least two contactable references.

Interviews will take place at a later date

thanks

Lee

Hello

These details are yet to be decided and will be based on the applicants status, i.e. self employed small business / paye etc.

We are a UK based company (family run) but will more than likely have to fall into spanish employment laws in regards to this, depending on

hours being worked weekly etc

As its short hours initially, there will probably be no holiday pay or I should say it will be paid pro rata and the applicant expected to cover

absence etc.  Therefore they would be paid it in accordance with any employment laws applicable in this area and not actually take holiday, merely find cover while they are away

Does sick pay even exist in the work place these days ?  Most jobs these days do not pay this.  However we are not ogres if sickness is genuine and suitable cover found there is no issue as the cleaning gets done and everyone gets paid accordingly !

Safety workwear will be provided, to be discussed with successful applicant as to what they would need.

Tea break wise will be as and when, the total time on site will be around 5-6 hrs per clean so 1-2 small 'tea breaks' would be fine along the way.

The professional CV part isn't important as we would run the job on a trial basis anyway, its more about the attitude and ability of the applicant and flexibility.  As long as references check out, they are reliable and honest, this is more imporant than a piece of paper that states what they did in the past surely ?  However something which we can get some idea of the type of person would be a bonus.

Its just a small holiday rental business, not a major one :)
