I don't think you've any alternative to Torrevieja - unless you're willing to travel up to Calpe.

The parking in Torrevieja is improving all the time - new Paseo is open and cheap if you pre buy tickets and no queues getting into the town if you are travelling from the south

The CMO buidng near Carrefour they are very good wit lots going on
