When we did it in 2017, we just needed our passports, NIEs and proof that we had bought (or leased) a home. I think we also took a utility bill.

We went to the Ayuntamiento satellite office in Campoverde. I think you would need to go to the main Pilar Ayuntamiento office ...

We went to the Pilar office a few months ago (to get our digital signatures for tax purposes); due to Covid, a pre-arranged appointment was needed. There was a notice on the door explaining how to arrange this.

As an aside, you mentioned that you managed to get your digital signature at the Town Hall in Pilar De La Horadada

What does that involve ?

We have our Padron etc

Thanks

Our gestor organised the appointments (we needed the digital signatures for our income tax process).

From memory, we took our Residency cards, passports and Spanish driving licences. They didn't need to see the driving licences.

Due to Covid, we weren't allowed into the building. We presented ourselves to a guy at the door. He made a phone call, and another guy popped outside to take our papers and have us sign prepared forms. We waited 5 minutes and he came back out with our papers and digital numbers.

That was in June.
