We are just about to complete a new house purchase in Pilar and need to set up an a count with the water company. Can anyone please tell us which company provides the water and if there is a choice of companies. Also is it possible to operate the account online and see bills/transactions/ rates etc?

Probably acciona.
They have a portal, but i didn't manage to login with a NIE nr.

Thanks - sadly on Apple so don’t think I can access edge but will have a go on Firefox and Safari.

Acciona is the water supplier. They email quarterly bills before taking payment via direct debit. Their email address if you need it is [email protected]
I’ve had a house in Pilar as a holiday home for 17 years. It’s a nice town. With the exception of the odd Brit, people try to help rather than try to rip you off!

Sorry for delay, Many thanks much appreciated. Do you happen to know if we can have a joint account? We are worried if something happens to one of us then the other may not be able to deal with the company as in the U.K. ( they will,only speak to the account holder). and we could be leaving one or the other in a world of pain! Also can we can a joint account with the electricity company?
