Hi

With many more important issues that we are all having to deal with, could anybody help with this bit of trivia

Can anyone tell us where we can buy Marmite, it has disappeared from the shelves in Pilar?

As we don't have a car,  we would have to make a special journey

Many thanks

Bill

You can usually get 250g Marmite in Carrefour for 5,40€. The problem with saying where to buy it is that there might not be any on the day you get a ride or a cab. For a 250g jar (I call that normal size, not the tiny 125g jar) it's 11€ on Amazon,es (twice the Carrefour price) which is expensive but if you're going to get a cab or buy a pal lunch just for a jar of Marmite, it might be worth paying Amazon the extra.

Good luck. I'd go mad without Marmite or Vegemite.

Have you tried Aldi? They sell it in our local Aldi store near Los Altos as well as our local Mercadona and Dialprix … well, they did last time I looked!
