Second hand car wanted

I'm moving to Camperverde in June and would like to purchase a second hand car, what is the best way of going about this as I've heard there are a lot of pitfalls to avoid

I would recommend buying from a garage. I have used FWR Eurocars near Alicante and they are great. Frank the owner is a genuine good guy and will do all the required paperwork.

The only real pitfalls are that if you buy a car with unpaid fines/suma etc these transfer to the new owner, but this should be checked by the gestoria or whoever you use to do the transfer of ownership as long as they are a reputable company and not some bloke from the pub :)

There is a small used car lot in Campoverde (on Avde del Pino, near the church).
The business has a good reputation, so worth a look, just for convenience).
Otherwise ... as per Dazz above.
There are several car repair businesses within 5km. One of them is British operated.
