We are retired and hope to move to our home in Campoverde in the next few months.

The paperwork is daunting. Can anyone recommend a company that can take this on for us. To help us through this process.

Thank you. C

Before you employ an expensive company do you know the income and healthcare requirements for UK retirees to move permanently to Spain.

If you are a UK passport holder and want to live in Spain permanently you will need to apply for a non lucrative visa from the Spanish consulate and meet the income and healthcare requirements. The income requirements for a couple would be around €34,000 per annum and both of you would need full private healthcare paid for a full year.

I think your NLV needs to be applied for in the UK.

Otherwise, this company (in Avda del Pino) can meet your needs ...   Britannia Legals & Insurances

Hi Cat,

If you haven't already seen it, this guide should give you a helpful overview:

How to apply for a Non-Lucrative visa (NLV)

If you don't feel confident to make the application yourself, another member has recommended this company:

www.upsticks.es

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi I have a home also in Campoverde it’s a lovely place.

My sister in law has just gone through the process in the uk and just had her passport returned with the Visa and went through the NLV process as they want to retire in Spain.

I found a lot of information on a Facebook group by Leon he has some useful information on his site,.  He does recommend a company on his site, he has links to required paperwork if you want to do it yourself.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/541708980293807/?ref=share

We contacted Greg who has an office in Campoverde near the town hall, he does the Spanish side of the paperwork & gave us a contact for the uk side process too. Greg speaks English very well and is very helpful. He is going to take them to get the TIE.  My husband used Spanish legals in the village but had to go to Alicante on his own they just collated paperwork and made appointment.

I suggest you contact Greg first and he will advise if you are eligible, Greg’s email is [email protected]

If you need any more details message me, happy to help as it is quite daunting.  If you qualify and have all the correct paperwork it should be straightforward x
