We feed our dog on the frozen Naturcanin raw dog food which, in comparison to   being in England, is working out quite expensive. Can anyone recommend a butchers where I might be able to buy raw scraps to mix with the other food we buy.

Hi

Have to say the pet food industry here in Spain is Pants on the whole.  Butchers tend to use all of the meat and by products that we would normally get for a reasonable price in UK.  I've given up to a degree and now feed Taste of the Wild (Bison and Venison) and mix chicken, minced beef or tuna in - along with coconut oil they're looking really good on it.

Hope you can find a solution.  Good luck.

Val

Hi we give our 4 dogs real meat according to BARF which we buy in Lidl and Consum and Carrefour.

We have a grinding mince machine and we prepare the food according to the weight of each dog. Yes expensive but a lot more healthier then all the crap they put in dry food. One of our yorkies was a lot overweight eating this dry food and he slimmed down incredibly and is now so healthy happy playing dog. If you want more info look up Barf on google.

Thankyou for your help which is along the lines I was thinking of in mixing some sort of raw meat in with what we already buy.
