My friend found a terrapin in the middle of the road. He took it to the vets who couldn't really help him so now he's stuck with it. He doesn't have a garden, only a small sun terrace, so not ideal conditions for keeping a pet of any sort. Anyone know anything about these, anyone want it?? Can it be released into the wild where there are others like it? Any help much appreciated.

My advice would be to release it in the lake at Reina Sofia park in Guardamar. I am sure it will be happy with all the other Terrapins for company. It is a lovely park.

I know Rio Safari in Elche has them and would probably be happy to have more :)

My friend released 1 in the fishing lake we go to on sundays theres 2 in there now and seem realy happy there.
