Fibre optic

Tina hi, we have just purchased in         Campoverde and we were thinking of fibre as it’s just been installed in our street 

Can you let me know what supplier you are with , as I don’t want the same issues !

Any recommendations for fibre/ broadband are welcome, with thanks  

Hi we were told we would have 300 mbs but my husband checked yesterday it was only showing 5 😳 it’s very on and off which obviously affects the TV. Very frustrating. We shall be complaining again tomorrow so we live in hope it’s sorted

300mps is very optimistic?  But 5 is a joke 

What sort of package have you purchased ?

It’s fibre optic internet. Up to 300mbs. Netflix which is designed to work even when the supplier throttles the band width stopped working. In settings Netflix can measure the speed. It was 5.1mbs. We will complain ‘again to Flexa tomorrow.

    What speed can you receive if you connect a Laptop using the  5Ghz  option direct to the router using a Ethernet cable

Thats what they will do to check the speed if you complain

Internet over optical fibre is only available in Campoverde from two suppliers.

Flexa and OnlyFibra (aka TVHoradada)

People here love to complain and change companies over and over fiber is relatively new to Spain especially to campoverde. Pick a company and stick with them I'm sure it's all teething problems from both sides... I have no issues with Flexa or San Pedro WiFi as it was before. There are many factors rodents love to chew cables. A lot of the older generation live here,most of them don't know the lingo...or how to navigate their all singing all dancing devices. Times are CHANGING technology is one of the fastest moving things and trying to keep up with it can be boggling to even us youngsters. If you have a bit of know how u can resolve MOST trivial mishaps easily at home yourselves. It can be unpredictable at times yes and when it is they are working in the background to resolve their issues for you so stop listening to the moaners and make ur own decisions make good choices😁

To be fair it’s not to complain as you say it’s, asking advice and to hear other opinions which is what this site is about so I thought.

All I wanted was to hear other people’s experiences 😳
