Interesting and sobering info which I’ve forwarded to friends in UK who are still moaning about being in lockdown despite being able to go to Poundland, BQ, Home Bargains, Wilco, BM etc as they sell food and if course browsing the shelves in the big supermarkets for essentials like compost, sun loungers and new clothes!

I'm not a Boris fan, but the above Reuters report indicates that the UK Gov't was not well served by its scientific advisers. Throw in the UK Gov't preference for ignoring offers of EU collaboration .... and the UK is where it is

It uses week-old data, but shows how cumulative lockdown measures limit case growth, avoiding skew for pandemic delay between countries and continents

No facts just scaremongering

Lockdown in Britain is a little less harsh than other European countries and it is being abused by a few, but the daily figures are below most other countries, the nhs are currently working well below capacity with temporary hospitals being built within days.

The nightingale hospital in south east London was completed and now in use in less than 9 days. That are currently building more..

It seems to me that all countries are coming under some criticism and there is plenty of fake news.

I personally think the reporting of this global event is very poor, hardly any good news is reported with the usual distortion of facts to suit front pages and headlines...

I didn’t take any offence, I just wanted people to understand what’s really going on here.

The uk govt have done some fantastic work, paying people’s wages up 80% offering loans to companies , suspended all sorts of  taxes etc, mortgage payments suspended and now I believe loans suspended.

They built that hospital in 9 days, building more as we speak and investing heavily in 

Tests for COVID -19, these are unprecedented times and I think the good news should be spread..
