Overnight accommodation between Santander and Campoverde

Hi, can anyone recommend overnight accommodation half way between Santander and Pilar as I don’t wish to complete the journey in one go?

I stayed at Hotel Torcal near Madrid in November after our ferry was delayed. Although it was difficult for me to find, it was worth the effort as it was clean, with spacious rooms, nice staff and had a secure gated car park with cctv. Breakfast was good as well at a good price. Being on the ring road around Madrid it also meant I didn’t need to go into the city itself.

Last year we took a leisurely drive from Campoverde to Santander. We stopped outside main towns - near Albacete and Soria at pre-booked Airbnb - highly recommend whenever travelling. The other stops were at the Spanish 'Hostels' on route which were clean, comfortable, economical and perfect for an overnight stop.

If you dont like motorways The N 623 santander to burgos is one of
the top 10 best roads in Spain, very quiet , and lovely scenery.
Then stop here.
