I am returning to the UK permanently and will still be resident in Spain until my house sells !
I have bought a car in the UK for my return and will need to insure it
Does anybody know if this is going to be possible as a resident in Spain with a Spanish license??

Liberty Seguros will insure it ... pop into and chat to Britannia Legals (on Avda del Pino, near Plaza Florida).

Oh I sold my car in November here having insured it in October so I cancelled the insurance last week! Are you saying they will insure my car in the UK??

Yes.
We used them (Britannia/Liberty Seguros) to insure 2 UK-registered cars (which we eventually brought to Spain for re-registration).
