Hi and hope you are well.
Well that's made me chuckle to be honest. I'm sure once the dust has settled it will all pan out and the excuses will soon stop......well hopefully!
Mind you it will interesting to see what the implications (if any) such as increased/decreased of costs of goods imported from the UK will be.

I imagine it’s to do with the unmitigated chaos at uk ports and tunnel. Drivers are being held for long periods due to apparently inadequate paperwork which few people understand or have the resources to deal with. The situation is similar in reverse, except that uk supermarkets stockpiled as much as they could beforehand. It will be felt shortly over there.
But, hey, that’s what was wanted, I understand.

On both sides of the political divide, Brexit is used, and will be used for some time to come, as being the root cause of all EU/UK. ills

We're fine thanks. We spent most of December in England, but we're glad to be back here.
Happy New Year !

Hi Kelvin,
This is a result of Brexit. A friend of mine works in a "British" supermarket up this way. They've been advised that they can no longer import fruit, vegetables and any products that contain flour, e.g. bread, sausages, pies, cakes - I suspect the list could be quite long. The staff have been advised that there will be shortages until the company is able to source fruit and veg locally, but I think my hubby's going to be without his Cornish Pasties for much, much longer.
Kind regards,
Kim
