I believe that too many people take chances by renting out privately and then have hardly any support when things go wrong, except to resort to the long, slow and expensive legal process in Spain.

...ction with court officials and law enforcement officers they claimed human rights and the eviction was delayed for 2 weeks. When the owners got the property back all of their furniture has been removed from the property all white goods gone and every piece of cutlery, china etc was removed and a huge legal bill.These Germans are now renting another property in the village probably to rip someone else off. If you know of anyone renting their property out very recently warn them of these people.
