Hello Nickie, you would both need to register as Autonomo and if you search the forum under " Everywhere" you will find lots of information on this which includes the amounts you will each have to pay in social security. There are many established cleaning companies although I don't know particularly about Pinar de Campoverde.

The pavements get very hot here for many months and can burn their paws and exercise can be low down on their priorities in the heat of summer. My own dogs almost become nocturnal, finding the coolest place indoors until the sun goes down. Requests for dog sitting do come up on the forum but then so do posts offering this service!

You would both have to become residents and part of the process is to show that you have the means to support yourselves here and not to become a burden on Spain. You will either need to be paying into the system as Autonomo or have private medical insurance paid up front for the first year.

Your UK driving licences will need to be exchanged to a Spanish one within 12 months and used cars and vans hold their value in Spain so will be more expensive than you are used to.

Hi. We would be very interested in the house sitting side of your business. We have 2 Golden Retrievers, well behaved and soft as butter. When we go away we prefer not to uproot them, they are happier at home. Please let me know if you progress. Good luck.
