We are sprucing up our external areas and the coloured concrete that surrounds our pool is looking grubby (see photos).  It looks as though the original concrete was coloured.  Any advice on what to do to bring the concrete back to it’s original colour - a good clean and maybe painting over the concrete?  Thanks in advance!

Looks to me like all that's needed is a good power wash.

You'd have to do that anyway if you were thinking of painting.

Hi, I painted my surround, and it looks great. I filled any small cracks in with filler, then gave it a couple of coats. The paint I used was from a really good paint supplier called ESVI in Alicante. A bit of trip for you, but the paint is very good.

The paint was Revoco Fino no 710 piedra, and the antislip is antidesliz. They mix a little fine sand in with the paint to stop any slipping. I have a picture of my pool with the surround painted, and the make and colour of paint, hope this helps
